Marina

Built in former Basin One of the dockyard - originally used to build warships and submarines - the 300-berth marina has berths available for visiting vessels. It has been open since 2000 and includes the provision of berths, pontoons and a floating ablution block.

Discussions are now underway to extend the marina to berth up to 500 vessels (planning permission has already been granted). It is run by MDL, one of the UK’s largest and most successful marine operators. As well as the leisure boats there is also provision for visiting historic vessels.
