Arethusa
Sailing courses for children are already provided by the Rochester-based Arethusa Venture Centre in Basin Two at Chatham Maritime, but there are now plans now afoot to create a 200 sq m Water Activity Centre at the edge of Basin Two. This £450,000 scheme is expected to get underway sometime in the future.
The facility will feature drying rooms, changing rooms, toilets, showers and teaching facilities.
